Monetary and financial system
The governor of the Bank of Spain, José Luis Escrivá, and the subgovernor, Soledad Núñez, have received at the Bank headquarters the associations of the Spanish financial sector, the Spanish Confederation of Savings Banks (CECA), the Spanish Banking Association ( AEB) and the National Union of Credit Cooperatives (UNACC) as well as a representation of Spanish banking entities.
This is the first global meeting that they have with the Spanish banking industry since their appointment.
In the working meeting, various issues of common interest have been addressed, among others, the perspectives of the financial sector for the coming years, the possible geopolitical risks, the regulatory and supervisory efficiency, the financial inclusion or the digital euro.
