Explaining the Taliban government’s fatwa on Saturday, government spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid wrote on social media, “If you see girls working in the kitchen or drawing water from a well, one can commit indecent acts.” It does not end here, the clear message at the end of the Taliban fatwa is that the windows should be turned off. Taliban took over Afghanistan in August 2021. After that, one after another, the rules came down on the girls. Primary education for women was also banned. Women were stopped from working outside.
