Selim Reza, Dhaka: The traditional Ahsan Manzil of Dhaka is the Sufi festival of traditional Bengal. One day, many Sufi-Mashaykhs from all over the country participated in the festival. With ordinary people. The festival begins in the morning by raising the national flag. From noon, the audience enjoyed the folk songs of the booklet, Murshidi, Bhavaiya, Bhatiali, Marfati etc.

The Sufi festival also included Kawali and Murshidi Performance of the Sufi band, Sufi Rux (Rumi Dance) and Sufi Hadra Performance of The Circle Trup. The Sufi festival was held under the supervision of the Shahbaz Foundation. Organizer Sheikh Fahim Faisal said, “Sufi genre is an ancient genre of Bengal. We want to give this trend with modernization and give new form and deliver the Sufi messages to the youth. That’s why we have been doing different events for years. But this time, we first organized Sufi Fest in Dhaka. Most of the visitors are young at our event.
Visitors enjoyed art session, meditation session, flute and violin session, Q&A episode, Sufi Rux workshop, Sufi Hadra Workshop on the day. Besides, one of the attractions of the fest was a variety of stalls. Visitors were also crowded with various books, traditional dhakai and nawab house food, clothing, different types of festivals, perfumes, bags, northern, various types of musical instruments. Ahsan Manzil is one of the most traditional establishments in Bangladesh. After 5 years, the Sufi Fest has been held at Ahsan Manzil.
