Success Story Shailendra Kumar Bandhe Cracks State Civil Service in

Civil Service Exam: Despite studying engineering, he was forced to overcome the financial hardship of the family and was working as a peon after passing the Public Service Commission examination. But his inner insistence did not decrease. Being persistent in his goal, the young man joined the officer’s position after passing the Civil Service Exam in the same office. He set a precedent. The young man’s name is Shailendra Kumar Bandhe, recently passed the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission Examination (Success Story) and secured 73rd rank across the country. His success proved that no obstacle can hold back a man of his own will.

Even after studying engineering, he was forced to work as a peon

Shailendra studied Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Raipur. And after passing engineering from this reputed institution, he could have joined any good company with huge salary, he had many opportunities. But he decided not to attend any placement interview. He wanted to do government service. In the 2015 Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission examination, Himanshu Sahu, a senior from a college in Raipur, got a great rank and this inspired Shailendra Kumar Bandhe.

Shailendra is the son of a farmer family

Born and brought up in Bitkuli village of Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh, Shailendra later moved to Raipur for his studies. Shailendra completed his primary education and engineering in Raipur. He secured 73rd rank in civil service examination in general category and 2nd rank in reserved category.

Parents were a big support

Shailendra recently said in an interview that his parents were always by his side. It was this year that he cleared the Public Service Commission examination and started working as a peon. And Shailendra gave the prelims of another Public Service Commission exam in February this year. Then he started preparing for Mains.

True success lies in the test of patience

Shailendra Kumar Bandhe could not pass in the first attempt. He could not even clear the mains exam. In third and fourth attempts, he could not make it to the interview. Finally the desired success comes in the fifth time. He was preparing for this exam while working as a peon.

In a recent interview, he said that no work is small, no job is too small. Each post has its own glory. Be it peon or deputy collector both posts have respect. You must act with honesty and respect in every job. But many mocked me for studying engineering and working as a peon at that time, but I never considered myself small.
