Dhaka: “I expressed our concern about the security of minorities. We also discussed some sad incidents. I said that attacks on cultural, religious and diplomatic infrastructures are sad.” India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Mishri said this while facing the journalists after the meeting of the foreign secretaries of the two countries in Dhaka amidst extreme hatred of India in Bangladesh. “We expect constructive action from the Bangladesh government in this regard,” he said.
India-Bangladesh foreign secretary level meeting has ended in Dhaka. After the foreign secretary level meeting, the Indian foreign secretary told reporters, “Today’s discussion gives us an opportunity to review the relationship between the two sides. I appreciate the open and constructive discussion that took place between the two sides today. I emphasized in the meeting that India is positive.” , wants a constructive and consensual relationship with Bangladesh. I have also informed that India wants to work closely with the interim government of Bangladesh.
