On the occasion of fasting, the government office will open in Bangladesh at 7am. Office holidays will be at 4 pm. Then the government workers will get about three hours in hand. At that time they can easily break fasting back home.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued an office schedule for all government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous institutions, considering the time of Sehri and Iftar during the holy month of Ramadan.
During the fast, there will be a break from Johor (noon) from 8:30 pm to 1:30 pm. Weekly holidays will usually be Friday and Saturday. Ramadan may start from March 7, depending on the moon.
Banks, insurance, financial institutions, postal, railway, hospital and state -owned industries, factories and other emergency service providers will determine and follow the schedule considering the public interest according to their laws. The Supreme Court will also set the Supreme Court schedule under the Supreme Court, the directive said.
