Dhaka: Persecution of minority Hindus continues. The international community is shaking. In that atmosphere, Mohammad Yunus, the chief advisor of the interim government of Bangladesh, held a meeting with the representatives of all religions. He said that some things can happen in such a big country. But it is necessary to know the actual facts, so that the problem can be solved immediately. Yunus also said that it is the government’s responsibility to bring the guilty to justice, regardless of the party. (Muhammad Yunus)

On Thursday also, incidents of attacks on minority Hindus in Bangladesh came to the fore. It is alleged that Hindu houses and temples were vandalized in Sunamganj district. News came that Hindus were attacked in Mangalargaon village in Doarabazar thana area. Apart from the vandalism of hundreds of houses, allegations also surfaced that a Loknath temple in Sunamganj was also vandalized. Besides, it is known that the fundamentalists vandalized several temples in Boda Upazila of Panchagarh district. On the other hand, Chittagong University professor Kushalbaran Chakraborty was attacked by fundamentalists for protesting the continuous attacks on Hindus. West Bengal BJP MLA Agnimitra Pal posted on social media that radical Islamists have banned women from entering the market in Gopalganj’s Gahardanga. (Bangladeshi Hindus)

Yunus held a meeting with the representatives of various religions at the Foreign Service Academy on Thursday afternoon amid these allegations of repeated attacks on minority Hindus. There he said, “Today we have come to discuss openly. Discussion about how to get information, arrest the guilty. We want to build a new Bangladesh, a new Bangladesh, it must be done. Many questions are arising in our minds. We are sitting with you to find the answers to them. I heard that the minorities are still being attacked. (Bangladesh Situation)

When the country is heated by the anti-reservation movement, when Hasina left the country, Yunus returned to Bangladesh and gave a message of peace and harmony. He also reminded that in today’s meeting. Said, “When this government was formed after the July coup, I appealed to everyone at the airport. Not a political statement, I said sincerely, we are a family. We will have different views, different religions, different customs. But we insisted that we are all members of the same family. Although there are hundreds of differences, we are not enemies of each other. We are united in the question of nationality.

Talking about persecution of minorities, Yunus said, “When I formed the government, I started hearing that minorities were being persecuted. I was upset. After that I went to Dhakeshwari temple and said the same thing there. We belong to the same family. Apart from all other claims, One claim is very clear, we all have equal rights, right to speak, right to religion, right to work. This right comes from the constitution, our right as a citizen, is guaranteed It is the responsibility of the state to deliver the rights given to us by the constitution. How can the minorities be saved from this, I felt , everyone performed Durga Puja very enthusiastically. There was only one such news, I was relieved No, it turned into a national festival. I felt satisfied that I had done a little work. Now again, the attack is happening.

Earlier, many in the Yunus government were claiming that Bangladesh was being maligned. On this day, Yunus said, “Foreign media is spreading like this. I am investigating, why is it happening, what is happening. The news is coming from one side, but it is not coming from the other side. There is a gap in the middle. It has to end. The information that I am getting. , it can be wrong. If you sit like nothing happened, you have to go inside and see what is wrong. What they are saying is a lie, not what we are saying Promotion! There is no gap in our goal. But we can’t rely on the information. The boss doesn’t want to tell the truth Want to know. Want to establish that process.”

In favor of establishing long-term peace, Yunus said on this day, “I am not talking about the noise of two days. How many kinds of incidents happen in such a big country. Maybe it has happened. But information should be available immediately. Whoever is guilty is guilty. He should be brought to justice. This is the government’s responsibility to create an environment that is immediately remedied I can.” Yunus said that the situation should be dealt with in such a way that no one thinks twice before making noise and no one else is encouraged.
