In the face of journalists in Washington, the foreign secretary said, “The two leaders have discussed the issue, I informed you that Prime Minister Modi expressed his concern over the recent situation in Bangladesh and how India was seen in that country. The situation in Bangladesh will move on that, however, that the constructive and stable relationship is developed, but Prime Minister Modi has discussed the concern with Trump. ”
However, Donald Trump stood by the Hindus of Bangladesh before the US vote. This time, but in the context of Bangladesh, Trump could not be seen taking that strict position! He did nothing to warn the Yunus government or condemn Hindu torture. Whatever is happening in Bangladesh, as much as India’s concerns, he left Modi in the hands of Modi and virtually lied to the responsibility!
Earlier, India had indicated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump could discuss the situation in Bangladesh. At a press conference in New Delhi on February 7, the Foreign Secretary said, “Regional and international issues will be discussed. It may also include (Bangladesh) among the issues discussed.”
The Prime Minister visited the United States at the invitation of Donald Trump. This is Modi’s first US visit since Trump came to power for the second time.
Meanwhile, the interim government of Bangladesh had said that Bangladesh wants to establish a relationship with India so that both sides are protected between mutual understanding and the interests of the nation and trying to move forward.
