Recruitment News: Calcutta Metro is recruiting for the post of Apprentice. Interested eligible applicants can apply for this recruitment (Recruitment News) from the official website of Kolkata Metro. Application can be done easily from the respective website mtp.indianrailways.gov.in. Application will be made for total 128 vacancies (Kolkata Metro Recruitment). This application will start from December 23 and will continue till January 22, 2025. Know the important things.

This recruitment will be done for a total of 128 posts. Out of this (Kolkata Metro Recruitment) 82 people will be recruited for the post of fitter, 28 vacancies will be taken for electrician, 9 people will be recruited for the post of machinist and 9 more people will be recruited as welders.
What qualifications are required?
Interested candidates must have passed 10th standard examination from a recognized board. Even in this exam minimum 50 percent marks should be secured. Also, the applicant should have National Trade Certificate from NCVT or SCVT in the respective trade. Otherwise cannot apply for this recruitment.

Candidates interested in Kolkata Metro Recruitment should be between 15 years to 24 years.
Method of selection
All the candidates applying for recruitment in Kolkata Metro must be named in the merit list to avail the training facility. This merit list will be prepared based on the information given at the time of application. Merit list will be prepared by averaging the marks obtained in Madhyamik and ITI examinations. Both the exam marks will carry equal weightage.
Application Fee
To apply for the post of Apprentice in Kolkata Metro, you have to deposit 100 rupees as application fee. But reserved candidates and women will not have to pay any application fee. This fee can be deposited online only.
