Patna: Khan Sir, a popular teacher and YouTuber from Patna, recently opposed the imposition of normalization in the 70th Bihar Public Service Commission Preliminary Examination (Khan Sir) and took a stand against lathi-charge during protest marches of examinees. While participating in this gathering, the police of Gordnibag police station arrested him and took him to the police station for questioning, then he was released at midnight that same day. But after the incident spread on social media that the police had tortured Khan sir, his fans and students became even more enraged. After participating in this protest, he fell ill and was shifted to hospital. Talking about this incident, Khan sir said whether he will contest the polls in 2025 at all. What does he say?
Police did not torture
He was arrested by the police of Gardnibag police station after joining this gathering of BPSC students. Then he was taken inside the police station. Naturally all the students present there got excited by this incident. But this time, Khan Sir told ANI media about the incident, “The police did not misbehave with me in any way. I was ill for the past one and a half months. I thought of getting myself treated after the BPSC exam. But that morning when I heard that the protesters were Lathicharged, I felt that I should be there, encouraging them. But going there, my physical condition worsened.”
Normalization is absolutely unnecessary
Khan Sir was originally opposed to the normalization process. A few days before the exam, the students were informed that the candidates of 38 districts will be given separate question papers. And that’s when the examinees become mentally unstable. Khan Sir made it clear that while normalization can be implemented in subjects like Mathematics, it cannot be done in General Studies. And if you give different question papers, you will get different marks, so it will not be a correct assessment on the students.
Khan will fight in the polls sir?
In this context, when he was asked by the media whether he would contest the next election, Khan sir said clearly, “I don’t want to contest any election. I focused on my work as a teacher. I even faced all the hurdles in this work. Me. I’m tired of answering questions, I want to stay away from politics.”
