Salim Reza Dhaka: Khaleda Zia, former prime minister and chairperson of Bangladesh’s main political party, BNP, left Dhaka in an air ambulance for better treatment in the UK.
Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP Chairperson’s media wing, told 24 Hours Bangladesh correspondent that Khaleda Zia’s air ambulance flew from Dhaka Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Tuesday at 11:46 PM.

It is to be noted that BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia arrived at Dhaka airport at 10:50 pm on Tuesday night to visit London. Before that, at 8:15 PM, the convoy took Khaleda Zia to the airport from Gulshan’s house in Dhaka.
Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP’s media cell, also said that Khaleda Zia arrived in the air ambulance at 11:10 pm. BNP Chairperson is going to London after almost seven years. He is scheduled to arrive at London’s Heathrow airport on Wednesday night Bangladesh time.

Khaleda Zia was supposed to leave Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in a special air ambulance sent by the Emir of Qatar at 10 pm on Tuesday. But he was delayed in reaching the airport due to the crowd of party leaders and workers.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia along with her doctors, family and her work assistants are on the visit. A team of Qatari government doctors is on the plane.
