The flight was en route from Baku, Azerbaijan to Grozny, Russia. Russia has been resisting Ukrainian drones for the past few weeks, where the plane changed course in mid-air and requested an emergency landing. Russian President Vladimir Putin has already expressed his condolences over the plane crash. Condolences to the families of the victims. There were 42 citizens of Azerbaijan and 10 citizens of Russia on the plane.
