G22 Hours Digital Bureau: Six people were killed and two were injured in the Israeli airstrike in the eastern Lebanon. The ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah is going on, and the attack happened. The Israeli drone attack took place on Saturday, aimed at the Shara area near Jennata city in the East of Lebanon.

The Israeli military said in a statement that the production and architect of Hezbollah’s strategic weapons was targeted by the attack. The statement also said that the kind of action that was going on in that target was a clear violation of the current agreement between Israel and Lebanon.
The ceasefire agreement was signed between the two parties on November 23. The agreement stopped the conflict between Israel and Lebanon Hezbollah. But, the fact is that Israel forces have attacked Lebanon at various times in violation of the agreement even after the agreement came into effect. Israel has repeatedly claimed that they were attacking Hizbulla bases in Lebanon.
Israel has launched several attacks on the Beacka Valley in the eastern Lebanon. Hezbollah has a strong base in that area of Lebanon. At least two people were killed in the Israeli attack on the Lebanon-Syria border on January 5. Israeli forces claim they attacked Hezbollah’s bases.

In compliance with the terms of the ceasefire agreement, the Lebanese army, along with the United Nations peacekeeping forces, has been deployed in the southern part of the Hizbullah-controlled Lebanon.
