ISKCON On Chinmoy Krishna Das : 'No discrimination against Chinmoy

After the arrest of Chinmaykrishna Das, the spokesperson of Bangladesh Sammilit Sanatani Jagran Jot and the principal of Pundarik Dham in Hathajari, Chittagong, the minority Hindus have taken to the streets in protest. And the police and Jamaat supporters of Bangladesh have become active to suppress them. Protests and blockades are going on in various districts of Bangladesh. India has already strongly condemned the arrest of the Hindu monk. Bangladesh has also given a counter reply. In the meantime, the Bangladesh branch of ISKCON has given a strong statement.

The Bangladesh branch of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) has strongly condemned the arrest of Hindu monk Chinmoy Krishna Das.  Religious organization ISKCON has expressed deep concern over the increasing violence and attacks against traditional communities across the country. 

In a statement released on Tuesday, ISKCON Bangladesh said  "Bangladesh Sammilita Sanatani Jagran Jot" The detention of its spokesman Chinmoy Krishna Das is strongly condemned. Chinmayadas Prabhu has recently been active in protecting minority rights. He has also been seen leading the movement to protect the rights of minority Hindus. 

ISKCON request, Bangladesh government should protect the right of freedom of speech of the citizens. ISKCON Bangladesh said in a statement,  “We are  expressing serious concern. Strongly condemn the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das. He is the representative of Bangladesh Sammilit Sanatan Jagran Jot. As a Bangladeshi citizen, he was vocal for the protection of minorities. It is imperative to uphold his rights and ensure justice. 

ISKCON said, "Chinmaykrishna Das and the Sanatani community deserve justice as citizens of this country. Any kind of discrimination against them will not be tolerated"।
