Especially in the northern and central parts of Bangladesh, thick fog is falling from midnight and dawn to morning. As a result, the entire area from Dhaka to the northern region is covered in fog. Bangladesh Meteorological Department Meteorologist Shahnaz Sultana G told 24 Hours Bangladesh correspondent this information.

He said that the temperature in some parts of the northern part of Bangladesh is fluctuating between 12-15 degrees Celsius. Temperatures may drop close to this, though not a cold snap. Fog density is slightly higher today. As the day progressed, its effect on Dhaka and surrounding areas will decrease, but there is a possibility of a foggy environment throughout the day in the northern region.

Earlier, the weather forecast of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department at night said that the weather in Bangladesh may remain dry with partly cloudy skies for the next 3 days. However, during this period, moderate to heavy fog may occur in some parts of North-North-Eastern part of Bangladesh and light to moderate fog in other places from late night to morning. It has also been reported that the night and day temperatures of the entire Bangladesh may decrease by 1-2 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the presence of people in the bazaars of Bangladesh is seen to decrease due to winter last night. Cutting of paper, burning of dry wood can be seen trying to ward off cold. Residents of Dhaka said that the temperature dropped to zero at night. Chilled to the bone. In the evening, the severity of winter is a little more. At the same time, the severity of winter is increasing several times due to the cold air. People are walking around wearing warm clothes since evening. As the winter progresses, the suffering of the working people also increases.

Meanwhile, this time, the old clothes shops were not built on the sidewalks of Hatbazar in Bangladesh. The clothes shops are selling winter clothes at high prices. Although many people can afford it, most of the low income people cannot buy winter clothes. This time, public-private distribution of winter clothes has not yet been seen. Due to winter, winter diseases have increased. In the health complexes of Bangladesh, children and the elderly are being treated for colds, coughs, pneumonia and diarrhea. Doctors are giving treatment along with necessary advice to increase health awareness in winter.
