Fruit-food is expensive, than to prescribe medicine! People are crying

G 24 Hours Digital Bureau: In July this year, a large number of ordinary people took to the streets in anger. One of the reasons is the abnormal increase in the prices of daily commodities. Therefore, one of the expectations of the common people of the country from the interim government that came to power through this coup is price control of daily commodities. But even after two months of the interim government, there is not much success in controlling the prices of daily commodities. On the other hand, prices of rice, edible oil, eggs, chicken, sugar etc. have increased.

The people of Bengal are upset by the sky-high prices of goods. Rabeya Yasmin, a resident of Dhaka, raised a serious complaint. He has been suffering from lung disease for two and a half years. He has to take an average of 170 rupees of medicine every day. It is difficult to buy medicine in the world of scarcity. Meanwhile, her husband and six-year-old daughter were suddenly infected with dengue. After testing positive for dengue, Rabeya struggled to meet the cost of food and not medicine.

He complained that the doctor advised him to eat more fruits including papaya, lemon, malta, dab, saline instead of medicine. Rabeya reversed and the doctor said that it is better to prescribe medicine than the price of the fruit. However, Rabeya is not the only one in this case, most of the low-middle-class and low-class families suffering from dengue in Bangladesh are struggling to meet the food expenses. They have to spend a lot of money on extra food to fully recover from dengue. Patients from middle class families are also unable to recover.
