Experts reveal Jesus Christ was not the real name of

New Delhi: He is adored in the whole world. Jesus is worshiped as Christ. But what is the real name of Jesus Christ, now language and phonetic experts have revealed it. Said Jesus Christ’s real name was probably Yeshu Nazareen, (Yeshu Nazareen). A report by language and phonetics experts published in the New York Post makes this claim.

Not only to Christians, Jesus Christ is also adorable to others. However, there was always controversy surrounding his name. Jesus Christ and his followers lived in Judea in the Roman Empire. At that time English was not prevalent there. Jesus and his followers are known to have spoken Aramaic.

According to the researchers, Jesus’ name has a connection with the Aramaic language. Aramaic was spoken in all the documents from the period that come from the Galilee in northern Israel and southern Lebanon. Jesus probably grew up in Nazareth in Galilee. Even the Gospels translated into Greek mention that the ‘son of God’ spoke Aramaic.

According to researchers, ‘J’ was not pronounced at that time. About 1500 years after the death of Jesus Christ, the pronunciation of ‘J’ began, and so did writing. From there it becomes Yeshu, Jesus or Jishu. Christ is not a title. Rather, the meaning of the word is to mean ‘one anointed in the name of God’. According to this theory, Jesus used the name Yeshua or Yeshu. The name was also in use in Galilee at that time. Jesus’ full name was Yeshu Nazareen.

In the ‘Bible’ Jesus is referred to as ‘Jesus of Nazareth’ or ‘Jesus of Nazarene’. According to the researchers, Jishu is referred to by that name in terms of his place of birth, so as to identify him separately. Marko Marina, a historian at the University of Zagreb in Croatia, said that in ancient times there was no use of surnames. Rather, caste, place of birth and identity of parents were included next to the name. But how did Jesus Nazarene become Jesus of Nazareth? According to the researchers, this is due to the difference in pronunciation. Jesus’ name was Aramaic.

But the Greek language did not have the necessary words or sounds to pronounce it. As a result, Yeshu first became Iesous. Again when the New Testament is translated into Latin, Iesous becomes Iesus. The pronunciation of ‘J’ started in the 17th century. Accordingly Iesus became the modern name Jesus. The name alone is not surprising. Jesus Christ’s actual birthday is not even December 25. In the fourth century, Pope Julius I decided to celebrate December 25 as the birthday of Jesus. Because in ancient Rome, the Pagan Saturnalia (Roman Saturn) Festival was celebrated on the same day.
