He filed a complaint against 12 people, including a BNP leader. After that Mahmudul Hasan was expelled by the party. The incident happened in the Adarivita Union No. 6 of Motherpur Upazila, Bangladesh. Mahmudul was the secretary of that union.

In that incident, the local resident Sumon Mia and the butcher Bazlur Rahman were arrested and sent to the court on Saturday. Complainant farmer Efaz Uddin filed a complaint at Motherganj Model Police Station mentioning the names of 12 people. Mahmudul Hasan has been accused in the case.

Mahmudul Hasan, General Secretary of Adarvita Union BNP and his wife Laila Khatun, Finance Editor of District Women’s Party, organized a feast for the workers-supporters who participated in the rally in Dakshin Koira village of Upazila.
Meanwhile, a cow was stolen from the cowshed of farmer Efaz Uddin on Friday. Efaz Uddin and his neighbors were looking for cows when they noticed that people had gathered at BNP leader Mahmudul Hasan’s house in the morning. It was there that Efaz Uddin saw the skin of the slaughtered cow and recognized his cow. Efaz Uddin caught the butcher red-handed with the help of the locals. Then the complaint to the police. Police arrested Juba Dal worker Suman and meat trader Bajlu from the spot. At this time, the police confiscated the cow’s skin, head and some meat. After this, Mahmudul was expelled by the party.
Hasan Al Mamun, Acting OC of Motherganj Police Station, said that the released BNP leader organized a meal with the stolen cow. That food was supposed to be eaten by his people. After receiving the news, two people were arrested from the leader’s house. At the same time, the cow’s head, skin and some meat were also seized.
