The fish was caught on Sunday in the Gholachar area of the Naf river of Shahpir, Sabrang Union of Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar. Abdus Salam, a UP member of ward no 1 of Sabrang Union, told the media that Bhola fish was caught in the net of Mohammad Kalu Fakir, a resident of Shahpir Island Konarpara.
Shahpir’s trawler owner Mohammad Hassan, president of the Cooperative Association, said that in the morning, the fishermen were trapped in the Naf river. After a few hours, the large bhola fish gets stuck in the net after the net. The locals gathered to see the fish.
The fish is auctioned under the fish. The price is Tk 5 lakh. Later, Teknaf Jaliapara fish trader Zafar Alam bought the fish for Tk 2 lakh 3 thousand. Later he took the fish to Teknaf.
