G 24 Hours Digital Bureau: Former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina has been accused of missing several high-ranking officials of the country. A report has been submitted to the office of Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus. Anti-Corruption Commission or ACC has launched a financial corruption investigation against Sheikh Hasina and her sister Sheikh Rehana. The investigation began on Tuesday.

What complaints? Allegations of irregularities and corruption of Tk 80 thousand crore in 9 projects of the country have been made against Sheikh Hasina, Sheikh Rehana, son Sajib Ahmed Wazed and daughter Tulip Siddique. According to ACC sources, these corruptions have occurred in 9 projects including Rooppur Nuclear Power Project, Special Shelter Project, Bepza.
ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her son Sajib Wazed Joy and daughter-in-law Tulip Siddique, who were ousted in the popular student uprising on December 15, are investigating allegations of embezzlement of 5 billion or 5 billion dollars (60 thousand crores in Bangladeshi currency) from Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant (RNPP) through Malaysian banks. The High Court issued a ruling seeking to know why the ACC’s inaction should not be declared illegal.
On September 3, National Democratic Movement-NDM Chairman Bobby Hajjaz filed a writ in the High Court seeking an order to investigate this complaint. The writ challenged the legality of the ACC’s inaction in investigating the corruption of Sheikh Hasina and her family members in the Rooppur nuclear power plant. The ACC chairman and the concerned parties contested the writ.
