Parthapratim Ghosh, Mayukh Thakur Chakraborty and Prasenjit Saha, Dhaka: The anti-India stance of the Yunus government in Bangladesh is becoming clear day by day. And it was in this situation that Khaleda Zia held a meeting with Pakistani diplomats in Dhaka. Seeing that the question is being raised in various quarters, when Khaleda was the prime minister, Bangladesh became the arena of Pak-militants, is that chapter going to return again? The name is Pakistan. And without the help of the country, the birth of independent Bangladesh was not possible, its name is India. But, the hardliners of today’s Bangladesh have forgotten that history. Mohammad Yunus government of Bangladesh is spewing poison against India every day. And in this important situation, BNP chief and former prime minister Khaleda Zia held a meeting with Pakistani diplomats in Dhaka. In this situation, High Commissioner of Pakistan Syed Ahmed Maruf, appointed in Dhaka, met BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Tuesday night. The meeting lasted for about an hour. Seeing what many people say, it is clear in this film, taking advantage of India-hatred, Pakistan has started shaking the hammer in Bangladesh.
After the fall of Hasina’s government, Khaleda Zia’s fear of being released from house arrest began to surface. Because, as much as Sheikh Hasina had good relations with India, historically BNP and Jamaat are just as close to Pakistan. During Khaleda Zia’s tenure as Prime Minister from 2001 to 2006, Bangladesh became the arena of anti-India forces. At that time Pakistan’s spy agency ISI became active in Dhaka. One after the other terrorist attacks in India would come out of their heads. During Zia’s tenure, several militant groups in Northeast India shifted their base to Dhaka. Then it started attacking India from the umbrella of ISI. ISI-backed militants used to enter India through Bangladesh. Then attacked and fled to Bangladesh. After the fall of Hasina government, now that Khaleda Zia is active again. And the result of that is exactly what is happening. Bangladesh wants to smooth relations with Pakistan. One of the proofs of which is that on November 13, cargo ships from Pakistan’s Karachi port directly arrived at Chittagong port. This is the first time since 1971 that a cargo ship has arrived in Bangladesh from Pakistan. Not only Pakistan, China is also active in developing land in Bangladesh. Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen met with BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir in October after the fall of Hasina’s government.
In this context, the question arises, are Pakistan and China trying to corner India by exploiting the soil of Bangladesh once again? In 1971, India was by Bangladesh’s side. But, that friend is desperate to harm India today. In this context, will the Modi government create pressure on Bangladesh at the international level?
