On Thursday (January 2) around 8:30 pm, he went to Firoz, the residence of Army Chief Khaleda Zia. He was there for about 40 minutes. No one knew about their meeting beforehand. From there the speculation started. Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP Chairperson’s media wing, said, ‘Today (Thursday) at 8:30 pm, the army chief came to BNP Chairperson’s residence in Gulshan. He inquired about the health of national leader Khaleda Zia.
He said, ‘BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council member Major General (Retd.) Fazle Elahi Akbar welcomed the Army Chief. The army chief prayed that the BNP chairperson recovers quickly. Shayrul Kabir Khan said that his wife was also with the army chief. However, not only the army chief, many diplomats of different countries posted in Dhaka after the release of August 6 went to Feroza and met Khaleda Zia.

Incidentally, Begum Zia is scheduled to go to UK this week for better treatment. 79-year-old Khaleda Zia is suffering from various diseases including liver cirrhosis, heart disease, lung, arthritis, kidney, diabetes, eye problems. A long time ago, the medical board advised him to be taken to London for better treatment. He will go to London for further treatment on Monday (January 6) at 11 am. At this time, a total of 15 people including medical board doctors, nurses and personal assistants will accompany him.
