Several people were injured on both sides.

Clashes are reported to have started at Bitak intersection in the Tejgaon industrial area of ​​the capital Dhaka on Sunday from 11 pm. And until 2.16 am the clash continued on and off. The students of the residential hall of Bangladesh Textile University complained that the students of Dhaka Polytechnic Institute attacked them first. When such news spread, the students of Bangladesh Textile University also started gathering. At this time, a chase happened between the two sides. It is known that the police came on the news of the clash, but they left in the face of fire from both sides, the locals said. However, after the arrival of the Bangladesh Army, it took a position between the two sides and started trying to stop the conflict.

It is known that 15 people of Bangladesh Textile University were seriously injured in this incident. However, the cause of the conflict is not yet known. Meanwhile, the clash between the two educational institutions has created panic in the entire area. Vehicular movement has been stopped in one side of Dhaka’s Tejgaon industrial area. Officer-in-charge (OC) of Dhaka’s Tejgaon Shilpanchal Police Station. Gazi Shamimur Rahman told G Media that there have been reports of some injuries in the clash with the students of Bangladesh Textile University and Dhaka Polytechnic Institute. We are trying to bring the situation under control. However, the OC could not say anything about the start of the conflict.

Shafin G, a student of Usmani Hall of Bangladesh Textile University in Dhaka, told the media that there was an argument between Latif and Aziz Hall students. At some point it turns into a confrontation. Later, several people from both sides were injured. The injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Bangladesh Army has surrounded the area. They are said to stay here until the situation calms down.
