The donation boxes were opened in the presence of Kishoreganj Deputy Commissioner and Pagla Mosque Management Committee President Fauzia Khan and Superintendent of Police Mohammad Hasan Chowdhury. Apart from this, a large number of army jawans and police were present at that time.
Fauzia Khan, president of the mosque management committee, said that after three months and 14 days, 11 donation boxes of Pagla mosque were opened on Saturday morning. 29 sacks of rupees were found in it. Later, the work of counting the money started by bringing it to the floor of the mosque. It is expected that all the past records will be broken and new records will be created.
Note that after 3 months and 27 days on August 17, after opening 9 donation boxes and one tank of Pagla mosque, 28 sacks of taka were counted and 7 crore 22 lakh 13 thousand 46 taka were found. Apart from this, a large amount of foreign currency and gold ornaments are also available.
