G22 Hours Digital Bureau: Former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina arrested Razzaq Matabbar’s son Rubel Ahmed. He was arrested on Wednesday night. ADC Jewel Rana of Mohammadpur Zone in Tejgaon, Bangladesh, said this.
ADC Jewel Rana said Rubel Ahmed, son of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s driver, was hiding in the Mohammadpur Basila Metro Housing area. He was arrested in the morning. He is being sued under the Terrorism Act. He may also be charged with sedition for allegedly engaging in anti -national conspiracy.
Relevant Rubel Ahmed is known as the Chhatra League leader. The allegations against him are that he was conspiring to overthrow the current government of Mohammed Yunus. He was maintaining contact with Ganabhaban Quarter, Adabar, Administration officials, police and army officers.
