Airtel Outage: Thousands of customers in India are affected. Airtel Telecom services were suddenly disrupted today from the morning of December 26. Both mobile and broadband services of Airtel (Airtel Down) have been disrupted and customers are reporting this problem to X Handle across the country. It is known that the customers are not able to call, the internet is also not working. According to news sources, Airtel Outage network outage is seen across the country at 10:30 am today, December 26. And many Airtel customers have reported this outage to X Handle. Some customers even said that their device with Airtel SIM started showing no network for a while. What happened to Airtel?
Mobile internet users are particularly affected by this service disruption. 40 percent of mobile service users have complained to X Handle about this and similarly another 40 percent of customers have complained of complete black out in Airtel’s service. And only 22 percent of customers reported that the signal was not available. Many customers have faced this problem in different cities.
Airtel is one of the largest operators in India’s telecom sector. Bharti Airtel is ranked after Reliance Jio. As of October 2024, the company’s subscriber base has grown to 385.41 million, accounting for 33.5 percent of the market update. The number of 5G subscribers of this company alone has reached 90 million in the first quarter of the financial year 2024-25. As a result, it can be estimated from these statistics how many lakhs of customers are facing problems due to this service disruption. So far, nothing has been announced by the company in this regard.
A reply from Airtel India on the X handle told a customer, ‘Sorry for your trouble. Customer feedback is very important to improve our service. We will ensure that this does not happen again. There is an outage in your area which will be fixed by 2.30pm today’. In response to another complaint, Airtel said, ‘There is a temporary network problem in your area which will be fixed within 2 hours.’
