Afganistan Airstrike: At least 15 killed in airstrike in Pakistan

Afghanistan Airstrike: Multiple airstrikes have been carried out by Pakistan on Barmal district of Afghanistan. There are reports of numerous airstrikes in Paktika province of Barmal district. At least 15 people have already died in this airstrike that took place on the night of December 24. Among them are women and children. Rescue work has started. The death toll is expected to rise further. An official death toll has yet to be announced. 

The Taliban Defense Ministry strongly condemned the incident and vowed to retaliate. They said, ‘It is our right to protect our land and sovereignty’. The Taliban Ministry of Defense also reported that Waziristan refugees were killed in the airstrikes. It is known that a total of seven villages were struck. This includes a village called Lamen, where 5 members of the same family were killed in the airstrikes. It is heard that Pakistani jet aircraft are responsible for this bombing. Murg Bazar village has been catastrophically destroyed.
