Salim Reza, Dhaka: 7 bodies were found in the ship anchored in Bangladesh. Another person was found seriously injured. He is admitted to the hospital. The incident happened in the border area of Neelkamal Union of Haimchar Upazila of Ra Chandpur.

It was 3:15 on the clock. On Monday, Bangladesh Coast Guard and Naval Police rescued dead bodies and injured people from a place called Char in the middle of Neelkamal Union. In the preliminary investigation, it is assumed that this incident is to prevent the robbery of the ship. The deceased are the ship’s master Kibria, engine driver Salahuddin, Sukani Aminul Munsi, greaser Sajibul, Azizul and Majedul Islam. The identity of another person is not yet known. Jewel is injured. All of them live in Narail district of Bangladesh. Bangladesh Naval Police Chandpur Region Superintendent of Police (SP) Syed Moshfiqur Rahman confirmed this information.
The master of Mugni-3, another ship of M/s Barshi Enterprises, Bachchu Mia and Greaser Md. Masud said, Al Bakherah carrying fertilizer left Chittagong, Bangladesh at 8 am on Sunday. After that the owner of the company, Shipon Bakherah, called the ship and got no one. At the end, the Mugni ship was asked to communicate with that ship. While passing through the area, the Bakherah ship was spotted by the crew of the Mugni ship. They called 999 after seeing the people on the ship lying in a bloody state.
Bangladesh Coast Guard and Naval Police from Chandpur attended the spot. In the presence of Superintendent of Police (SP) Syed Moshfiqur Rahman of Naval Police, Chandpur region, Coast Guard and Naval Police first rescued five bodies and three injured persons from the ship and sent them to Chandpur Government General Hospital.
Resident Medical Officer (RMO) of Chandpur Government General Hospital Dr. Anisur Rahman said that a person named Jewel had cut his throat and trachea with a sharp weapon. After primary treatment he was sent to Dhaka. Apart from that, two more Sajibul and Majedul were rescued and brought dead. They have injuries on their heads and bodies. Superintendent of Police (SP) Chandpur region of Naval Police Syed Moshfiqur Rahman said that it is initially believed that they were killed because they were prevented from robbing the ship. The incident is under investigation.
